We asked Nutritionist Ekta Sood if it is possible for one to get naturally fair by eating a certain diet. The expert said, "There is no food that will change your natural skin colour but there are a lot of foods which will help you to nourish your skin and give you a natural glow from inside which makes you look a lot more radiant and hydrated."

Foods To Make Skin Look Bright, Flawless

We further asked the expert to share a list of foods which can help make our skin look brighter and flawless. She shared that adding the following foods to your daily diet can give skin a beautiful, natural glow. 

Omega 3 Rich Foods

Do you know Omega-3 fatty acids can do wonders for you skin? These fatty acids are essential nutrients which are found in some foods like fish, almonds,walnuts, flax seed, sunflower seeds, pumpkin, soya. Consuming these foods helps regulate your skin's oil production, minimises signs of ageing, prevents breakouts, giving you a flawless looking skin.

Fruits And Vegetables 

Consuming red and green fruits and vegetables in daily diet can help nourish skin. They are packed with vitamin C which are essential for the skin. These vitamins help reduce blemishes and brighten up the skin.

The expert shared that having seasonal food helps one get clear and glowing skin. For example, during the winter season, one should add winter special foods like beetroot and carrot juice with amla and ginger. Consuming peanuts and winter greens can also help one get radiant skin. 

Lifestyle Changes For Glowing Skin

The expert further added that for healthy and glowing skin, one should also make lifestyle changes. Having a good sleep, stress management and everyday physical activity can do wonders. She shared that people who do regular breathing exercises witness amazing skin results too.
