The combo not just tastes delicious but is healthy too. They are commonly consumed during the winter season because they have warming properties. Let's quickly take you through some amazing benefits of sesame seeds and jaggery.

Benefits Of Sesame Seeds And Jaggery

    Keeps Your Body Warm

We spoke to Nutritionist, Chief Dietician, and Founder Of Health Mania, Megha Mukhija, and asked her to share some benefits of sesame seeds and jaggery. She said, "Sesame seeds are of primarily two types white & black. White sesame seeds are commonly consumed with jaggery in winters owing to so many health benefits they can provide. The seeds provide thermogenic effects when consumed with jaggery thus helping you keep your body warm in winters."

    Boosts Skin And Hair Quality

Consuming sesame seeds helps boost hair quality and keeps skin healthy, as they are loaded with protein, calcium, iron, and magnesium. Jaggery, on the other hand, activates digestive enzymes which makes the nutrient absorption process easier as seeds alone are always a little difficult to digest.

    Lowers Blood Pressure
