  • Food like millets- ragi, bajra, jowar, foxtail millets , Amarnath or whole wheat help you lose weight from the belly area. 
  • Add 1 spoon desi ghee or peanuts or cashew nuts to your everyday diet. 
  • Make sure that 50% of your plate has vegetables. 
  • Start your day with a glass of vegetable juice. 
  • Consume good quality protein in your daily diet to work on the belly weight. 

Difference Between Belly Weight And Bloating

The expert further shared that in many cases belly fat is nothing but bloating and the two things are completely different. She shared that consuming foods which are light on the stomach can help in debloating the stomach.

Abdominal bloating is quite common and almost all of us have suffered from this condition atleast once in our lives. Bloating usually is accompanied with excess buring, farting, discomfort, feeling of fullness. There can be different reasons why you are feeling bloated and some of them can be swallowing air while chewing a gum, eating fatty foods, lactose intolerance, eating foods like beans or high fiber foods that lead to gas among others.

  • Cucumber

  • Fennel seeds, ginger and turmeric tea
