How To Make PMS Relief Salad

Try this amazing salad recipe at home and you will be surprised to see the positive results.  

Ingredients

  • Lettuce
  • Alfalfa Sprouts
  • Red Bell Pepper (Cubed)
  • Yellow Bell Pepper (Cubed)
  • Beans (Cubed)
  • Cucumber (Cubed)
  • Beetroot (Cubed)
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Apple Cider 
  • Olive Oil
  • Parsley
  • Basil
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Salt
  • Pepper 
  • Honey
  • Microgreens 

Instructions

  • Take a big mixing bowl. 
  • Add lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, red bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, beans, cucumber and beetroot to the bowl. Mix well. 
  • For the dressing, mix apple cider, olive oil, parsley, basil, chilli flakes, salt, pepper and honey. Mix well. 
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad. Mix well.
  • Garnish with microgreens and your salad is ready.

How To Use Alfalfa Seeds

Soak the seeds overnight and then, drain the water. Tie these seeds in a muslin cloth and keep them for another day at room temperature in order to sprout them. These seeds really swell up after sprouting. They become almost double after sprouting, therefore you should use small quantities. 

You can use the alfalfa sprouts in any salad or you can even use them in any green sabzi. It can also be used in vegetable cutlets. No matter in what dish you use it, alfalfa seeds will exponentially increase the nutritional value of the dish.
