Dr. Narendra, speaking of the common symptoms of blood cancer said, “You should not ignore symptoms like fatigue, weakness, unexplained weight loss, and bone pain, as they are signs of leukaemia. If you notice any of these symptoms persisting or worsening over time, don't hesitate to seek medical attention.”

Who Is At A Higher Risk Of Blood Cancer?

Our expert shared that leukaemia or blood cancer can affect anyone, regardless of their age, or gender. However, certain types of blood cancer are more common in certain age groups or genders. For instance, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) is common among children, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) cases are high among adults. However, the expert further added that some studies suggest that men are at a higher risk of developing blood cancer as compared to women, however, the difference is relatively small.
