Do you ever feel like your brain is juggling too many things at once? You're not alone. Modern life can be overwhelming, making it hard to focus and even making simple decisions feel like a big task. These constant physical signs, whether it is brain fog or anxiety are a reminder that we don't have to live with constant stress. For centuries, Ayurveda has offered effective ways to manage anxiety and brain fog.
Ayurvedic Rituals That Calms Anxiety And Brain Fog
Small daily rituals rooted in Ayurveda can help realign the mind, body, and spirit. Here are some rituals you need to follow as suggested by Dr Govind, Chief Innovation Officer, Kapiva:
Herbal Support
Ashwagandha has been used for centuries to help with stress relief, but Ayurveda is just not limited to that. You can try other herbs as well including Jatamansi, which helps you relax deeply, Brahmi for improving mental clarity, and Shankhpushpi to keep your emotions stable. These herbs work together to support your nervous system, helping you stay calm even when life gets tough.
Eat In Sync With Your Dosha
“According to Ayurveda, food is essential for nourishing both the body and mind. By eating in harmony with your dosha - whether you're a Vata, Pitta, or Kapha - you can achieve emotional balance from the inside out. Vatas benefit from warm, grounding foods like stews and root veggies to stabilise their minds and bodies. Pittas, on the other hand, find relief in cooling foods like cucumbers, coconut water, and leafy greens. Meanwhile, Kaphas feel more energised and lighter when they eat spiced, light meals such as mung bean soup, steamed veggies, and dishes flavoured with warming spices like ginger and turmeric,” said Dr Govind.
Regular Practice Of Yoga And Pranayama
Yoga and breathwork are powerful tools for managing stress. Yogas like Surya Namaskar, and breathing techniques, such as alternate nostril breathing, can help calm your mind and release emotional tension.
