Headaches can go away in 3-4 hours, whereas, a migraine can stay for 2-3 days. The throbbing headache in migraine is quite difficult to deal with. Another myth that people have is that only medicines can cure migraines.

Well, medicines can only suppress the symptoms and not cure it from the root level. Indulge in activities that make you happy and help to destress yourself. Try to make it a point to spend some time with Nature, be it walking barefoot on the grass or just simply looking outside your window, into the greenery. Give your body enough rest for it to rejuvenate on its own, and go to bed by 10 PM. You can also take regular massages, mainly targeting the neck, shoulder, and head.

Migraines are born out of neurological disorders, for which Yoga techniques like Asanas and Pranayamas work wonders. So much so that with regular and dedicated practice, there will be lesser attacks of Migraine and then no attacks. Kriyas like Vaman Dhauti, Kapal Randra Dhauti, and Jala Neti are helpful for treating Migraine as it directly targets the root cause within.
