Stand with hands by the side of the body and legs together. Breathing in, take your arms above your head, stretch, and breathing out slowly bend down, keeping the back straight and keep the hands by the side of the feet. Take normal breaths for 4-5 rounds and slowly release the pose. Since this is a forward bending asana, it brings all the blood flow towards the head region, thereby facilitating hair growth.

Lie down on your back, with the hands by the side of the body. Gently, start lifting the legs up, and with the hands support the lower back. Slowly keep lifting up until your back is completely off the floor and you are only on your shoulders and head. Stay here for a few breaths and slowly relax. This asana increases the blood circulation and the supply of nutrients to the scalp region. As a result of which, you can prevent hair fall and premature greying and promote hair growth.

For this asana, lie down on the abdomen, with the palms by the side of the chest and toes curled inwards. Lift the hips up, so that you are in a triangle position. This will improve the supply of oxygen to the head region, thus making the hair stronger right from the roots. Doing this asana is not only good for hair growth but also for clearer skin.

Along with these asanas, ensure that you get a good night’s sleep as well. You could back-comb your scalp for 2-3 minutes to improve the blood circulation to the hair follicles. Mainly, don’t obsess over such things. Keep your self-confidence up and avoid undue stress in life.
