This exercise is specifically great for clearing bronchial blockages and helping improve immunity. Along with that, it pumps blood to the thoracic muscle groups, relieving the tension in the muscles and the lumbar spine region.

Start by resting with your arms and knees on the floor. Then while inhaling, expand the front region of your chest forwards, pull your throat (how to cure sore throat)upwards and keep your shoulders close and curve the middle region of your spinal cord downwards. Now, exhale and pull your throat backward with your chin touching your lower throat. Reverse the spinal curve by taking it upwards, compress your chest and pull your shoulders backs. This exercise should be done with a very free body, forming a continuous up and down curve for around 5 minutes every day for better immunity.

Kapalbhati Pranayama


Kapalbhati pranayama is known to detoxify the system and boost immunity here's how to perform it: Begin with sitting upright with a straight spine and hands over your knees. Then inhale the oxygen and exhale while contracting your abdominal muscles, by pulling them inward towards your spine. Then relax and repeat 15-20 times every day for better results.

Bhastrika Pranayam


To perform the Bhastrika Pranayam breathing exercise, you must start by sitting comfortably on a flat surface preferably in a padmasana or lotus position. Now, fill in your lungs with a deep breath through both of your nostrils, in the process, keeping your mouth closed, then, initiate exhaling with a hissing sound which can be achieved through your mouth. In order to do so, keep your teeth intact and place your tongue on the back of your teeth behind your upper lip. Make sure, you take a big deep breath every time you perform it and then exhale completely. Perform this exercise twice a day for at least 10 minutes each time to boost your immune system.
