According to an NIH Study, caffeine consumption can be linked to changes in hormone behaviour and oestrogen levels.

To understand more about this, we spoke with Dr. Jagriti Varshney, gynaecologist and obstetrician.

According to Dr. Varshney, PCOS patients can moderately drink coffee. Excess of anything is considered dangerous if you have PCOS.

It is generally considered that drinking more than five cups of tea a day is bad for your health. If you have a habit of consuming coffee every day, you don't need to change it. Just make sure to drink it in moderation.

On a general basis, it is advisable for PCOS patients to have a diet full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory food.
