tips to prevent sun tan

Once you've finalised your Goa itinerary, the only thing left to do is prepare your skin for the blistering heat and subsequent sun damage. If you're planning a tropical vacation, we're sure you're already worried about tan, sunburn, and other skin problems (otherwise, you wouldn't be reading this).

You'd learn a variety of ways for de-tanning your skin and removing a tan. But, rather than dealing with the problem later, why not try to avoid it altogether? After all, you should only return from your vacation with wonderful memories and numerous photographs, not with sunburn.

Protective Clothing

Protective clothing, when used alongside with the other ways, can be one of the most efficient strategies to avoid overexposure to UV radiation when on the beach. Fabrics in bright or dark colours have a substantially greater UV Protection Factor (UPF) than light-colored garments.

Lightweight fabrics with a dense weave. If you can see light through the fabric, UV light is going through your skin! Long sleeves and long pants will protect your skin by reducing skin exposure.

Avoid Peak Hours

Believe it or not, you may avoid UV radiation and solar damage, as well as sunburn and tanning, by simply avoiding the sun during particular hours. The strength of UV radiation is especially high from 12–3 PM, therefore avoiding sun exposure during this time can protect your skin from tan, skin cancer, and free radical damage.
