    1. Chadar Trek in Ladakh

    Imagine walking on a frozen river with stunning mountains on both sides. Sounds magical right? But you can experience this beautiful trek for real at the  Chadar Trek in Zanskar Valley of Ladakh during the winter season. This frozen river, located 1,300 feet above sea level, surrounded by chill surroundings, is known to give you even more chills. The best time for this trek is during the month of January to February.

    2. Scuba Diving in Andaman

Rishikesh is India's river rafting capital, with the sacred Ganga River flowing through it at speeds ranging from Grade I to V. River rafting in Rishikesh is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You can experience the spectacular view of beautiful Himalayas draped in lush green while rafting on this holy river. The best time for river rafting in Rishikesh is during November to March. During monsoons, the rafting remains closed as the water level rises in the river and is unsafe for rafting.

    4. Bungee Jumping in Rishikesh

    For those unfamiliar, bungee jumping is a sport that involves wearing a wide elastic cord around your hips and jumping from a tall structure while allowing you to experience free fall. And for those who are already aware should hurry to the location. Rishikesh is India's highest bungee jumping site and the only one with a fixed platform to dive from. The best time for bungee jumping is anytime around the year.

    5. Paragliding in Bir-Billing


    Bir-Billing Village is a village in Himachal Pradesh that offers a thrilling paragliding experience and is considered as the safest paragliding location, with a take-off spot at 8000 feet above sea level and a landing site at 4300 feet. Normal paragliding flight lasts for 15 to 20 mins and gives you a breathtaking experience for lifetime. October to June is the time for this activity.

    6. Jim Corbett Safari in Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand

    This 13184 national park, which is home to various exotic wildlife, is known for awe-inspiring visitors by introducing them to India's diverse wildlife, specially tigers. Tourists can go on a jeep safari that will take them through the entire national park and provide them with an unforgettable experience. The best time to visit Jim Corbett National Park is in winters.

    7. Skydiving in Mysore

    Skydiving is the most thrilling experience where you stay mid-air and can watch the bird’s eye view of the land. You can experience this beautiful adventure sport in Mysore. However, before the act, you’ll be trained and provided with safety procedures. October and November is the best time to witness the most beautiful view.

    8. Caving in Meghalaya

    Meghalaya is a beautiful place and the Meghalaya Caving Adventure is even more gorgeous. The state has the largest cave network on the Indian subcontinent, spanning over 300 kilometres, with more than 1200 caves. You can go exploring these enormous cave structures, which will make your heart race. Caving also allows you to test your upper body strength by climbing particular areas of the cave. November to February is the best time for cave exploration.

    9. Skiing in Gulmarg


    Skiing is one of the most popular adventure sports, and Gulmarg, in J&K, is the perfect place to try it. The Gulmarg Gondola, Asia's  highest and the world's second highest cable car circuit, takes you to an incredible height of about 4,000 metres, from which you may dash downhill for about 5 kilometres and experience some of the most magical moments. January to late February is the best time for skiing in Gulmarg.

    10. Surfing in Goa

    With open blue seas and clean, peaceful beaches, the state is blessed with unimaginable beauty. Apart from that, Goa also offers the most amazing Banana Surfing experience that you must not miss. The best and safest time to visit Goa for surfing is believed to be between October and May. The water currents are calm, and the swells are also soothing at this time.
