On a day off in the year 2019, Alia Bhatt decided to learn some cooking and talked about some of her favourite dishes in her Vlog. She said, "I'm understanding the work that goes behind making the foods I love eating."
In the same clip, she revealed some of her favourite food, which includes beetroot salad and chia pudding, who's recipe she also shared. Here's how you can make tasty and delicious recipes that are also very healthy in the Alia Bhatt way.
How To Make Beetroot Salad?

"Beetroot is really good for the skin, I feel like a real chef while cooking right now!", Bhatt revealed during the cooking session.
Ingredients Requires:
For Salad-
- 1 boiled and grated beetroot.
- 1 cup yogurt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of chaat masala
- Pinch of Coriander leaves
For Tadka-
- 1/4 tbsp oil
- Black mustard seeds
- cumin seeds
- asafoetida powder
- Curry leaves
Method Of Preparation:
Step 1: Take a bowl of boiled and grated beetroot. Add some yoghurt to it and mix them well together.
Step 2: Then sprinkle a pinch of black pepper. Then add a little chaat masala. Toss in a few coriander leaves into the mix.
Step 3: In a tadka bowl, heat some oil.
Step 4: Then add mustard seeds (rai) and cumin seeds (jeera) to the tadka.
Step 5: To finish off the tadka, add curry leaves and some hing.
Step 6: After that, remove the tadka bowl from the flame. Add the tadka to the beetroot yoghurt mixture. Blend it well. Your yummy and healthy beetroot salad will be ready.
Talking about how good Beetroot is for skin, Alia said, "I ate beetroot salad all the time because I was filming in Goa and it was very hot." She added that she never eats yoghurt without adding a tadka on top.

How To Make Chia Pudding?

In the video, Alia Bhatt revealed that she often eats chia seed pudding for breakfast and sometimes as a snack.
Ingredients Requires:
1 scoop roasted chia seeds
1 cup coconut milk
1 scoop protein powder
drops of stevia (to taste)
Method Of Preparation:
Step 1: Firstly, put some chia seeds in a pan over medium heat and roast them. Dry roast for a few minutes and take them out of the bowl. Allow them to cool for a while.
Step 2: Now add protein powder and coconut milk to a separate bowl. You can use a spoon or a fork to mix them well. Make that the mixture is free of lumps.
Step 3: Next, add stevia as much as you like and give it a little mix. You can add any other sweetener of your choice like jaggery, honey, sugar free, etc. It will add sweetness to your dish in a healthy way.
Step 4: Finally, add the roasted chia seeds and stir well. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes.
Step 5: Finaly, you can have your chia seeds. You can garnish the pudding with chopped fresh fruits or nuts for an enhanced taste. Enjoy the delight!
