Built in 1187 by Raja Bhillamraj Yadav of the Yadava dynasty, this fort is renowned for its exceptional architecture and is considered one of the best-protected forts in the country.

The Aurangabad Caves are a collection of 12 artificial rock-cut Buddhist caves located on a hill near the city of Aurangabad, stretching from east to west. The caves are categorised into three groups—the first group consists of caves 1 to 5, the second group comprises caves 6 to 9, and the third group includes caves 10 to 12, with the groups spaced approximately 500 meters apart, and the third group situated slightly further east.
