Dhandidhar Fort, Jammu and Kashmir

The fort's construction followed a power struggle between Raja Raheem Ullah Khan and Maharaja Gulab Singh, who eventually gained control and appointed Mian Hathu as the district's Governor. Under Mian Hathu's supervision, the fort was built and served as a storage facility for grains and a military training ground. The Dogra rulers also used it as a shelter during times of threat. The fort is surrounded by other beautiful spots, including the stunning Aharball Waterfall.

Qila Mubarak, Punjab
The Bhatinda Fort, built around 90-110 AD by Kushana Emperor Kanishka and Raja Dab, is one of India's oldest forts with a rich history. Many famous figures, including Prithviraj Chauhan, Razia Sultana, Guru Gobind Singh, and Sultan Mahmud, have walked through its grand entrance. You can still see the prison where Razia Sultana, Delhi's first female ruler, was once held captive. The fort also houses two gurudwaras, adding to its spiritual importance.
