Hair care is a serious commitment, especially for those of us who enjoy experimenting with various hairstyles. We all love to show off our beautiful hair, but when it doesn't seem so good, it might make us feel self-conscious.

A bad hair day, or just bad hair in general, can be caused by a variety of factors. They can, however, be avoided if proper precautions are taken. And it's this that's keeping your hair from staying healthy in the long run, here is an article that will be helpful to you.

Dermatologist Dr. Jaishree Sharad has shared some mistakes that people need to avoid to deal with their hair on her Instagram post. These tips will be helpful to you to deal with hair. According to Dr Jaishree Sharad, these are the mistakes people must avoid while dealing with their hair:

1. Using The Highest Temp Of Your Blow Dryer

According to Dr Jaishree Sharad, “Temperature over 150°C will cause hair fracture of hair due to bubbling and buckling. This will break disulphide bonds in your hair shaft and make hair brittle and frizzy”.

Hair fractures can occur as a result of high temperatures, which can be the result of bubbling and buckling. Hair might also become brittle and frizzy as a result of this.

2. Tying Your Hair Tight

According to Dr Jaishree Sharad, “Tight ponytails , tight hair braids, cornrows, hair extensions can cause traction alopecia, receding hairline, broken hair around forehead and sometimes even scarring alopecia”.

Tight hair is a leading cause of hair damage. Cornrows, tight hair ponytails, and firmly braided hair are all to blame. All of these factors, as well as hair extensions, can lead to traction alopecia, receding hairlines, and broken hair around the forehead. It can also result in scarring alopecia.

3. Using A Hairspray Close To Your Forehead

According to Dr Jaishree Sharad, “ Using a hairspray close to your forehead will clog pores and cause forehead acne.”

Hairspray should not be used too close to your forehead. Instead of using hair sprays to achieve a desired hairstyle, try allowing your hair to stay natural and styling it as it is. Hair sprays clog pores and might cause acne on the forehead if used frequently.

4. Towel Drying Your Hair Aggressively

According to Dr Jaishree Sharad, “This will damage the cuticles and make your hair brittle and frizzy. Wrap a towel around your hair for a few mins instead”.

Using a hot towel to dry your hair can damage the cuticles, making your hair brittle and frizzy. Instead, wrap a towel around your hair for a few minutes.

5. Keeping Your Hair Wet For Too Long (Over 30 Mins)

According to Dr Jaishree Sharad, “This causes water to get absorbed into cuticles leading to hygral fatigue resulting in lifeless, dry, frizzy hair.”

If you leave your hair wet for too long (more than 30 minutes), water will sink into the cuticles, causing hygral weariness and lifeless, dry, frizzy hair.
