These trims help you get rid of splitends which actually break your hair. To prevent breakage of hair and make your hair healthy and strong, you need to trim your tresses.

When chopping your hair at home, make sure you use the right scissor. The regular kitchen scissor won't work. You would need a razor-sharp pair of scissors. Another thing you need to keep in mind is that don't trim too much hair. Trim less than what you actually decided to. Cutting your hair while they are wet is easy but do remember that your hair would look shorter when they dry. So, trim your hair accordingly.

2. Give Hair A Natural Rinse

Beauty expert Aashmeen Munjaal shared that after regular cleansing of your hair by using a shampoo and conditioner, give your hair a natural rinse using natural ingredients. This natural rinse will fuel your hair with nutrition. She shared you can use a natural rinse prepared using tea.

Boil 1 tsp of tea in a bowl of water till it turns half. Cool it and after shampoo and conditioning, give a final rinse of this tea water. Similarly, you can use a coffee or a lemon rinse.

Better to tie them in a braid to prevent hair breakage. Braiding also helps you keep your hair strands moisturised. Braiding also makes your hair more manageable and prevents tangles.

6. Use Hair Mask

Nothing like pampering your hair with a deep conditioning mask. A nice hair mask can instantly turn your hair drab to fab. For this, you need just 2 ingredients - yogurt and honey. Mix the two ingredients well and apply all over your hair. Both honey and yogurt moisturise your hair and give them a natural shine.

7. Brush Before Shampoo, Conditioner

Another habit you need to build a habit to brush your hair before your shampoo and condition your hair. Be it any hair type, you need to detangle all the knots in your hair before you wash them. If you don't de-tangle them then you break more hair and lose many tresses in one wash. Brushing your hair is always helpful in distributing the natural oils of your hair till the ends of your hair. Also, make sure you condition your hair properly. Always apply the conditioner on the mid part of your hair and bring the fingers down to the hair ends.
