What Is A Face Clean-Up?
Face clean up includes removal of dead skin cells, dirt, dust from our skin so that our face doesn't lose its natural glow and moisture. The process is quite basic and involves basic steps like cleansing, scrubbing, steaming, and application of a face pack.
A face clean-up is quite different than a facial. Facials are elaborate but a face clean-up is quick. However, if you head out to a salon to get a face clean-up done, you will have to spend a good amount of money. A regular face clean up starts from INR 500 and can go up to INR 3000 at a salon. How To Do Clean Up At Home In Less Than Rs. 20?
Do do this face clean up at home, you don't need any fancy skincare products. Using some natural ingredients from your kitchen can help you get that salon like after face clean up glow at home.
Step 1 - Cleansing
Begin with cleansing your face with some aloe vera. Pluck a leaf from the aloe vera plant and scrape out the gel. Use this gel all over your face and neck. Gently massage till the gel gets absorbed into your skin. Keep it for a few minutes and then wash off with normal water.
Step 2 - Scrubbing
To get rid of all the dead skin layers, dirt, whiteheads, and blackheads on your face, you need to next scrub your face. To prepare your homemade scrub, use 1/2 tsp coffee powder, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp milk. Mix all the ingredients well. Apply this scrub all over your face and neck. Once the scrub is half dry, start to gently massage. Do it for a few minutes and then wash off.

Step 3 - Steaming
Dip a face towel in warm water and place it to your face. Make sure the towel isn't too hot or you can end up burning your face. Keep it for a few minutes. This will help open up the pores of your skin.
Step 4 - Face Pack
Lastly, prepare a face pack using besan or gram flour, turmeric powder and some water. Mix all the ingredients well to make a paste. Apply this face pack all over your face and neck. Let the face pack naturally dry. Wash with normal water.

After doing this face clean up at home, we suggest you don't use any skincare products for atleast a day for best results.
