If you have sensitive and acne-prone skin and find sugar scrub to be very harsh on your face, then this scrub can be a great alternative for you!

As you already know that yoghurt can make your skin soft and supple instead of drying it out after scrubbing, while rice flour can tighten your skin pores and balance the oil (sebum) levels hence, giving your skin a matte effect.

If you don’t have sensitive skin then, you can also add lemon juice to the mix.

Moreover, both of these ingredients are very gentle on your skin. People with oily or combination skin can add this scrub to their beauty regime.

  • Start by adding 1 tablespoon of rice flour to a bowl. If you don’t have rice flour at home, then you can coarsely grind a little amount of rice after freezing them.
  • Then, add 1 tablespoon of yoghurt to the bowl. You can use either Greek or normal yoghurt, it’s totally up to you.
  • Add half a teaspoon of lemon juice to the mix.
  • Combine all the ingredients well.
  • Apply the scrub on your face and massage in circular motions for 3-5 minutes.
  • Rinse your face with lukewarm water.
  • Apply this face scrub once or twice a week to achieve the desired results.
