Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen got married to beau Charu Asopa last year on June 16. The two had a destination wedding in Goa which became the talk of the town back then. Ever since they got married, they took social media by storm. However, now, rumours of their separation are all over the net.
Cryptic Posts On Social Media
It all started with Charu Asopa sharing a picture of herself on her Instagram with a Hindi poem that hinted at life and its miseries. Have a look:
She shared another picture of herself dressed in an organza saree. She wrote, “Naraz Kyon Hote Ho, Chale Jayenge Bohot Dur, Zara Tutte Hue Dil Ke, Tukde Toh Utha Lene Do.”

Next, Rajeev Sen took to his Instagram and shared a video of him reciting lines from a poem. He said, “Pal me zindagi, zindagi mein ek pal, Jeene do mujhe, dekha hai kisne kal. Hosh mein main nahi, hosh me na ye jahaan, Jee lo is pal ko, Jaane ho kal kaha.” Watch the video here:
Deleting Wedding Pictures
Charu and Rajeev got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Goa. They got married as per both Rajasthani and Bengali wedding rituals. Post their marriage, they kept treating their fans with pictures from their wedding celebrations on social media. However, now if you see their Instagram accounts, the two have taken down their wedding pictures.
In a recent interview with SpotboyE, when Rajeev Sen was asked about the same, he rubbished the rumours. He said, “I’m just laughing over the news is all I can say. Just because I am in Delhi for my work, people are thinking that we have had a fight & are no more together- what a funny world we live in."

According to a Bombay Times report, a source has confirmed issues between the two. The source stated, "Charu and Rajeev had serious compatibility issues right from the beginning. Things finally came to a head and Rajeev left for Delhi. The two have not been in touch since then. While Charu has dropped his surname on social media, Rajeev, on the other hand has blocked her from all channels of communication."

Falling In Love
Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen first met at a common friend's party. In an interview, Charu shared how they fell for each other. She said, "After our first meeting, we had decided to catch up again over coffee, but I left for my hometown, Bikaner. I was on a much-needed break after my show, Jiji Maa, ended. In fact, I hadn’t decided when to return. However, as luck would have it, I was offered Karn Sangini and had to report on the set the very next day. I texted Rajeev from the set and told him that we could meet for coffee. I had assumed that the meeting would end in half an hour. However, we went on talking for hours until I told him that I had to leave as I had an early call time the next day. We started chatting, spending time together and the rest, as they say, is history. I don’t know if I can call it love at first sight, but it looks like that.”
