Long Before Ranveer Singh, Milind Soman-Madhu Sapre's Nude Photos Had Stirred The Pot

Long before Ranveer Singh's nude magazine photoshoot heated up the social media sphere, Milind Soman had done a nude photoshoot with supermodel and the second runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant 1992, Madhu Sapre. In 2020, Soman re-shared the photo from the shoot that took place 25 years prior at that time.

He had captioned the photo, "Keep seeing this pop up on my timelines every once in a while :) its 25 years old, at that time no social media no internet either I think ! wonder what the reaction would have been if it had been released today 😋".

The photograph was taken for a footwear advertisement that was released in 1995. In the monochrome picture, Milind Soman and Madhu Sapre are seen posing together naked with a snake wrapped around them and a pair of shoes as their only accessory.

As soon as the picture was shared by Soman, it created a stir on the internet. Fans couldn't stop complimenting the picture as well as actors Soman and Sapre.

Model Madhu Sapre and actor/fitness enthusiast Milind Soman had a serious relationship in the 1990s. When it was revealed that they were living together in Mumbai, their relationship at the time caused a stir.

Additionally, when the naked photoshoot of the couple was released during that time, it created a major controversy. The couple broke up in 1995.

On April 22, 2018, Soman got married to Ankita Konwar in a private ceremony in Alibaug. They had another ceremony in India. The celebrity couple has a wide age gap of 26 years, and often has to face much trolling and questioning about their relationship because of this.

On July 26, 2022, Mumbai Police filed an FIR against Singh over his nude photoshoot. The following IPC sections were filed against the actor: 292, 293, and 509.
