Ice creams are love and make one feels amazing at any time of the year. It has its own charm when you lick on the cold creamy sinful cones or cups even in the winter season. However, just because we are on the mission to lose weight, it does not mean that you have to give up on ice cream! Try these vegan ice cream recipes at home and see how better this is from the scoops that you get in the market. You might just feel less guilty! 

Instead of using regular dairy we suggest, use frozen bananas as a base and sometimes even nuts too. They are equally delicious, wholesome and all the way a healthier alternative.

Here are a few recipes that you could whip up at home:

Vegan Mint Ice Cream

  • 3 cups of coconut milk 
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 4 frozen bananas 
  • 1/2 tbsp of peppermint extract
  • 1/2 of chopped mint leaves 
  • 3 tbsp of honey 


  • In a blender add those frozen bananas and make a smooth paste. 
  • Now add few mint leaves and honey.
  • Blend them all. 
  • Add a few drops of peppermint extract for colour and fragrance.
  • Once done, place the ice cream in a serving bowl and garnish with a few chopped mint leaves.

Vegan Strawberry Ice Cream

  • 250 grams strawberries 
  • 50 grams cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil 
  • 25 grams deseeded dates 
  • One cup almond milk



Vegan Plum Ice Cream

  • 250 grams black plums
  • 50 grams cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil 
  • 25 grams of deseeded dates 
  • One cup almond milk
  • In a blender add water and cashew nuts and then add the almond milk and blend.
  • Add coconut oil and black plums and top it with the dates.
  • Blend the mixture well
  • Pour it in ice cream jars and freeze it for 3-4 hours. Serve.
