How To Make Shikanji Masala?

  • In a pan, dry roast cumin seeds and black peppercorns.
  • Take it out on a plate and cool.
  • In a blender, add roasted cumin seeds and black peppercorns.
  • Add salt, black salt, hing or asafoetida, and unroasted cumin seeds.
  • To prepare your drink, add shikanji masala.
  • Add sugar, ice cubes, and lemon juice.
  • Add cold water and stir
  • Adjust the taste by adding more shikanji masala or sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Roasted Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Unroasted Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Black Peppercorns
  • 2 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Black Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • Shikanji Masala As Required
  • Cold Water
  • Ice Cubes

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Dry roast cumin seeds and black peppercorn.

  • Step 2 :

    In a blender, add roasted cumin seeds and black peppercorn.

  • Step 3 :

    Add salt, black salt, unroasted cumin seeds, asafoetida. Grind.

  • Step 4 :

    In a glass, add shikanji masala, powdered sugar, lemon juice, ice and cold water.
