Ingredients

  • Paneer Cubes
  • Handful of Cashew Nuts
  • 10 Blanched Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Coconut
  • Oil For Cooking
  • Water As Required
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped Mint Leaves
  • 1 Cup Tomato Puree
  • 2 Tbsp Curd

Step

  • Step 1 :

    In a pan, add 3 tsp oil. Add jeera or cumin, bay leaf and cardamom.

  • Step 2 :

    Next, add ginger garlic paste and onions. Cook on low flame.

  • Step 3 :

    Sprinkle turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder.

  • Step 4 :

    Saute till the mix turns aromatic.

  • Step 5 :

    Add tomato puree and saute.

  • Step 6 :

    In a blender, add grated coconut, almonds, cashew and water.

  • Step 7 :

    Add the coconut paste to the pan. Pour some water and cook well.

  • Step 8 :

    Cover for 10 minutes and let the curry cook well.

  • Step 9 :

    Fry paneer cubes in a separate pan and take off flame.

  • Step 10 :

    Add paneer cubes to the curry and mix. Cover it for a few minutes till paneer absorbs the curry flavour.

  • Step 11 :

    Add coriander powder, curd and garam masala. Mix well.

  • Step 12 :

    Paneer korma is ready! Enjoy with roti, paratha or rice.
