Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Whole Wheat flour
  • ¼ Cup Semolina
  • 1 Tsp Ajwain Or Carom Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1-2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 2-3 Tbsp Oil/Desi Ghee
  • ¾ Cup Finely Chopped Fenugreek Leaves

Step

  • Step 1 :

    In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, semolina, carom seeds, red chilli powder and mix.

  • Step 2 :

    Take some oil and add it to your flour mix.

  • Step 3 :

    Start kneading the dough with cold water. Keep adding oil and ghee as required. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

  • Step 4 :

    Roll out a small portion and top with sesame seeds and fenugreek leaves. Using a cookie cutter or bangle cut into circles.

  • Step 5 :

    Place the papdis on a tray and cover with a damp towel so that they do not dry.

  • Step 6 :

    You can fry these in an air fryer or deep fry like you usually do.

  • Step 7 :

    When the papdis turn brown, take off flame and let them cool. Store in an air tight container.
