Especially with our food picks, we all have been trying to take the K-route at our homes, bingeing on bowls of ramen, and trying our hands on Korean delicacies. With our K-obsessed series, we have been bringing you easy-to-follow recipes for popular Korean dishes, and this time we thought of taking you through a quick recipe to make Mandu or Korean dumplings.
These dumplings look quite similar to the momos served here in India. Now if you are really craving some, let’s get into the quick recipe (fret not, we have both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian recipes for you.
How To Make Fried Mandu?
- In a big bowl, add all the ingredients, add 1 tbsp of oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Take a dumpling wrapper or a small portion from the refined flour and dough and using a rolling pin, make small round-shaped discs.
- Add in the dumpling mixture and then seal the edges with water.
- Repeat with all the dumplings and keep aside.

- Deep fry the dumplings in hot oil or shallow fry and serve hot with a dip.
- To make the dipping sauce, add soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, honey, and garlic. Mix well, garnish with sesame seeds, and enjoy!
