Ingredients

  • 3 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 inch piece grated ginger
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2 tbsp malai or cream
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • Oil for cooking

Step

  • Step 1 :

    In a kadhai, add some oil and add hing. Next add cumin seeds and let the seeds crackle.

  • Step 2 :

    Add bay leaf, green chilli and grated ginger. Saute.

  • Step 3 :

    Dice onions and add to the kadai. Mix well.

  • Step 4 :

    In a mixer, make tomato puree and add it to the pan.

  • Step 5 :

    Time to add all the spices, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala. Mix all the ingredients well.

  • Step 6 :

    Next add malai or cream to the kadai. Stir well.

  • Step 7 :

    Crush kasuri methi and add to the pan.

  • Step 8 :

    Garnish with coriander leaves and your sabzi is ready!
