Ingredients

  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 green cardamom
  • 10 bread slices
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • ghee for frying
  • pistachios for garnish

Instructions

Step 1
In a pan, add sugar, water and green cardamom. Mix well and bring to boil.
Step 2
Take bread slices and trim the sides.
Step 3
Crumble in a bowl, add 3/4 cup milk and knead a dough.

Take equal portions of the dough to prepare small balls.
Step 5
In a pan, add ghee and fry gulab jamuns till golden brown.
Step 6
Drop these gulab jamuns in the sugar syrup you prepared.
