Who doesn't love having a street style frankie? It is a favourite snack among kids. You can treat them at home by preparing some delicious frankies at home. You just need a few ingredients at home and your frankie is ready. This recipe can also be made using your leftover potato sabzi.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 Cup Maida
  • Oil As Required
  • 2 Clove Chopped Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
  • 3 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Boiled Mashed Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Paneer
  • Salt As Required
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 Tsp Aamchur Powder
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Green Chutney
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • Grated Cheese

Step

  • Step 1 :

    In a big bowl, add wheat flour, maida, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil. Mix well.

  • Step 2 :

    Keep adding water as required and knead the dough. Cover it for 20 minutes.

  • Step 3 :

    Take a small ball size dough and roll into a chapati.

  • Step 4 :

    Cook it on a hot tawa and keep aside. If you have leftover rotis, you can use them.

  • Step 5 :

    In another bowl, add all the spices - chilli powder, aamchur, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, chaat masala, black pepper powder and 1/2 tsp of salt. Mix well.

  • Step 6 :

    In a pan, add some oil, chopped garlic, ginger and chilli.

  • Step 7 :

    Add tomato sauce to it. Next, sprinkle the masala mix you had prepared.

  • Step 8 :

    Add in potatoes and paneer. Mix all the ingredients well.

  • Step 9 :

    Add chopped coriander leaves and mix all the ingredients well.

  • Step 10 :

    Place the chapati on a plate and spread green chutney on it.

  • Step 11 :

    Next put the aloo filling in between. Top it with chopped onions and grated cheese. Enjoy street style aloo frankie at home!
