Saumya Singh Rathore is the co-founder of WinZO, India's largest vernacular social gaming platform with over 100 million registered users. WinZO has raised over $100 million and is backed by Griffin Gaming Partners, Makers Fund, Courtside Ventures, and Steve Pagliuca since its launch in early 2018.
Her Aim:
Saumya has always had a strong goal of creating inclusive, culturally appropriate products on the back of technology that would change the way we experience the world around us, forever. She was a founding team member of ZO Rooms & Zostel, a Tiger Global-backed hospitality startup. She was in charge of growth, expansion, and organisation. She led the launch of ZO Rooms along with her current co-founder, Paavan, and later teamed up with him to start WinZO, in 2018.
Education & Career:
She is a psychology post-graduate from The University of Manchester and is a psychologist with the British Psychological Society. Beginning her career at KPMG, Saumya has extensively worked across print, radio, and television on strategic matters of the companies specifically relating to driving growth and overseeing execution during her stint in the Times Group.

Saumya Singh Rathore was recently awarded the Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award at HerZindagi's WomenPreneur Awards. Saumya is one of the tech industry’s few female founders. In 2021, she received the ‘Women Entrepreneurship Award’ from BW Disrupt, a Business World platform that promotes young entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas. WinZO was also recognised as the ‘Startup of the Year’ in 2020.
Keenly interested in generating memorable gaming experiences, Saumya is always on the lookout for novel ideas that can grow the interactive gaming ecosystem. She has established a $30 million Developer Fund at WinZO to fund and promote gaming, game technology and web3 projects around the world.
