Prime Minister Narendra Modi began a landmark five-nation tour from July 2 to 9, 2025, with planned visits to Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Namibia, Argentina, and Brazil.

How To Reach Trinidad & Tobago?

Most travellers fly into Piarco International Airport (POS) near Port of Spain, Trinidad. From the UK, you usually connect via the USA, Europe or Caribbean hubs, expect around 12–15 hours total, depending on layovers.

For Tobago, there’s a short inter-island flight (about 25 minutes) or ferry from Port of Spain. Booking in advance is wise, especially during peak Carnival season.

The best time to visit Trinidad & Tobago is from January to April, during the dry season, perfect for beaches, sightseeing, and enjoying Carnival.
