Steps to make masoor dal face scrub:

- Step 2- Next day, drain your pulses and grind it with a cup of raw milk .
- Step 3- Add a tablespoon of rose water to the paste.
- Step 4- Mix everything together and form a thick paste.
- Step 5- Apply it on your face gently and cover the whole face.
- Step 6- Rub in circular motions for 1-2 minutes and leave it for 15 minutes.
- Step 7- Once it dries off completely, wash off with water.
- Step 8- Pat dry your skin and apply a moisturiser in the end.
Post scrub you will get softer, cleaner and brighter skin. Use it at least once a week to maintain the suppleness of your skin.

Urad Dal
Another amazing dal which has several beauty benefits is urad dal. It not only helps in making the skin radiant but fights skin problems, such as scars and acne. Also known as black gram, urad dal can be easily included in your beauty regime with the below given face scrubs.
Ingredients used: Urad dal, glycerin, almond oil, turmeric and rose water.
Steps to make urad dal face scrub:
- Step 1- Soak a cup of urad dal overnight and grind it into a paste the next morning.
- Step 2- Add one teaspoon of almond oil and glycerin to the paste.
- Step 3- Now add 2-3 tablespoon of rose water to the paste.
- Step 4- Mix everything together and form a thick paste.
- Step 5- Scrub it on your face for a minute and leave it for 15 minutes.
- Step 6- Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
The combination of almond oil and glycerin will be beneficial to treat acne. Rose water and urad dal will soothe your skin and remove the excess oil.

Moong Dal

Ingredients required: Moong dal, honey and yogurt.
Steps to prepare moong dal face scrub:
- Step 1- Soak your moong dal overnight and grind it in the morning.
- Step 2- Now add 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt, according to the quantity of your dal.
- Step 3- Add a tablespoon of honey and mix the paste well.
- Step 4- Apply it all over your face and scrub it gently.
- Step 5- Wash it off with cold water and pat dry your face.
Make sure you scrub these face packs gently, as harsh rubbing can damage the skin. Run a patch test on your skin, before applying it to your face, in order to make sure your skin doesn’t react to the ingredients.
