Apart from maintaining your dental health, toothpaste can be a lifesaver and assist with a variety of household tasks. Piano keys were traditionally made of ivory, but current keys are made of plastic. Both materials can turn yellow with time and it can be solved by regular cleaning with toothpaste. Scrub each key with a toothbrush and a small quantity of toothpaste to restore its original sparkling white colour. It will be back to its original colour.

5. Eliminate Food Odours

In a pinch, toothpaste can be used to remove nail polish. Place your nails in a mixture of toothpaste, water, and lemon and begin brushing away.

7. Makes Your Jewellery Shiny

If your sparkling diamond jewellery has faded and appears dull, or your silver jewellery has tarnished, stop sobbing and start using your toothpaste. Scrub the jewellery with your old toothbrush and a small amount of toothpaste. To restore their lustre, thoroughly rinse and wipe them clean. On the other hand, do not use toothpaste on pearls.

8. Polish Silverware/ Copper Pots

Take some toothpaste and a soft cloth and clean your silver serving pieces. Simply rub the paste on the tarnish and watch it transfer to the fabric. Rinse well with hot water and buff dry. Rub toothpaste on badly tarnished copper pots and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping the tarnish away. After rinsing in hot water, polish with a dry cloth.
