Global star Priyanka Chopra is currently at Los Angeles under home quarantine with her husband Nick Jonas and a few other family members including her Niece Sky and Divya. The star keeps on updating her fans about her activities and how she is spending time amid the pandemic of the novel coronavirus. Other than this, the actor, who is known for her contribution to social causes also came forward to help others by donating in relief funds.

On the occasion of Memorial Day, the star shared a throwback picture of her parents and paid tribute to all the fallen heroes around the globe. Taking to her social media handles, Priyanka posted a monochromatic snap of her father Ashok Chopra and mother Madhu Chopra. In the photo, they can be seen clad in their army uniforms as both of them served as doctors in the Indian army.
Alongside the snap she also penned a heartfelt note to pay tribute to all fallen heroes around the world. “Both my parents served in the Indian Army.. and maybe that’s why I feel such a kinship with military families all over the world. Today let’s think of all the fallen heroes that have given their lives in service to protect our freedom. #memorialday @madhuchopra,” she wrote.
Her fans and followers loved the picture of her parents and showered her with sweet comments. While one said, “What a wonderful looking couple mom looks so pretty and daddy is quite handsome.. of course, you are a great combination of bravery and beauty... like you as always,” another wrote, “This is such a beautiful picture PC Smiling face with heart-shaped eyes Salute to your parents for their service to the army #JaiHind #IndianArmy Flag of India.”
Since her parents were also doctors, Priyanka Chopra seems to have a soft corner for healthcare providers. As the entire world is going through a hard time, we all are dependent upon doctors and nurses. The international sensation thanked them and also shared their story by starting a campaign. On the last day of the campaign, she shared stories of four healthcare providers.
The 37-year-old actor shared a video on her Instagram account and wrote alongside, “Today is the last day of @bonvivspikedseltzer’s 5-week series to commemorate women who are on the frontlines of #Covid19. From nurses and doctors to volunteers and community leaders, we’ve had the great honor of listening to your stories and shining a light on these real-life heroes. Today we honor our final 4 more women.”
