Shubham revealed that even the simplest pictures you share of yourself and your friends online can be sold or misused for identity theft, money extortion scams, and more. The data is sold category-wise on the dark web, for example, pictures in sarees, pictures in dresses, in GBs.
What Is Cyber Crime?
Our expert shared that someone using your pictures for personal benefits, criminal activities, etc, comes under cyber crime. Some women receive body-shaming comments, trolling, explicit comments on their posts or DMs which is also a cyber crime.
The boundaries of cyber crime also include rape, death, acid attack threats.
