How To Make Tri-Coloured Panna Cotta
1) In a saucepan, heat the milk over low flame until it begins to warm.
2) In a small bowl, mix warm water with gelatin and allow it to soak until the gelatin blooms and becomes grainy.
3) Once the milk starts to simmer, add the soaked gelatin and whisk thoroughly until fully dissolved and smooth, with no lumps.
4) Stir in sugar and continue mixing until it dissolves completely. Then, turn off the heat.
5) Add fresh cream and vanilla essence to the mixture and whisk until well combined.
6) Divide the mixture evenly between two separate bowls.
7) Add green food colouring to one bowl and stir well until the colour is evenly distributed. Leave the other bowl plain, maintaining its white colour.
8) Pour the green-coloured mixture into a martini glass and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to allow it to set.
9) After the green layer has set, gently pour the white mixture over it and refrigerate for another 15-20 minutes.
10) Once the white layer has firmed up, top it with boondis to create the final orange layer. The boondis will add a crunchy texture to the smooth pudding.
11) Place the glass in the refrigerator for an hour or until all layers are fully set and distinct.
12) Garnish with chopped nuts or chocolate cigars before serving.
13) Serve chilled to enjoy the refreshing and visually appealing dessert.
