Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons semolina (sooji)
  • 4-5 boiled potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon frozen peas
  • ½ teaspoon aam chur powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 finely chopped green chillies
  • a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt to taste

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Begin by mixing semolina, all-purpose flour, and salt in a bowl.

  • Step 2 :

    Add a little bit of oil and knead all of them in a tight dough. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

  • Step 3 :

    Meanwhile, in another bowl mash your potatoes and add all the spices and salt.

  • Step 4 :

    Fry it lightly in a pan to give it rustic flavours.

  • Step 5 :

    Then make small balls from the dough and roll them with a rolling pin. Prick all taco chapattis using a fork.

  • Step 6 :

    Add oil in a wok, fold your taco from the center and fry it. Check if there is enough space for the stuffing.

  • Step 7 :

    Cook until it is light brown and crispy.

  • Step 8 :

    Now add potato mixture in every taco shell, garnish with cheese and coriander leaves. Serve with sauce or mayonnaise.
