  • 1 cup boiled and diced potatoes
  • 1 cup boiled green peas
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 small finely chopped green chili
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ½ cup chopped tomato
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp amchur
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup water
  • Coriander leaves chopped for garnishing


Step 1
Boil the potatoes and peas and let them cool.
Step 2
Dice the potatoes.
Step 3
Now heat the oil in a pan on medium heat.
Step 4
Add the cumin seeds and once they sizzle, add chopped green chili and the ginger.
Step 5
Saute for a minute.
Step 6
Now, mix in tomatoes and sprinkle some salt and cook for 3 minutes till the tomatoes become soft.
Step 7
Add remaining salt and spice powders and then mix well.
Step 8
Cook for a minute until the oil starts oozing out.
Step 9
Add the boiled potatoes and peas with ¼ cup of water.
Step 10
Mix well to coat all the potatoes and cook till all the water dries out. This will take 3-4 minutes.
Step 11
Now add chopped coriander leaves as garnish and mix in and turn off the stove.
