Pithod Raita or Besan Waala Raita Recipe Card

  • 50 gms besan
  • 500 gms curd
  • 10 gms red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 gms turmeric
  • 100 gms ghee
  • 5 gms roasted jeera powder


Step 1
Take half of the curd, add in besan, red chili powder, and turmeric, salt and whisk it well.
Step 2
Heat ghee, add curd mixture and cook till the mixture is smooth and shiny.
Step 3
Grease steel tray, pour the mixture, spread it and let it set.
Step 4
Meanwhile whisk the remaining curd and add salt.
Step 5
Make thin slices of set mixture and add this to curd.
Step 6
Garnish with roasted jeera powder.
