  • 1 ½ cups of curd
  • 1 medium-sized Banana, cut into pieces
  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • Salt, to taste

  1. Take a banana and cut it into small pieces. Keep it aside.
  2. Take curd in a bowl. Add salt and cardamom powder to it. Whisk until it achieves a smooth consistency.
  3. Add banana pieces to the curd bowl and stir.
  4. Add red chilli powder to the centre of the bowl and make sure you don’t mix the contents.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and prepare a tadka. Once hot, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  6. Pour this hot tempering right on the chilli powder.
  7. Mix it in with the riata. Let it cool for an hour in the refrigerator. Serve chilled and enjoy.
