Ingredients For Banana Raita
- 1 ½ cups of curd
- 1 medium-sized Banana, cut into pieces
- ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
- Salt, to taste

Banana Raita Recipe
- Take a banana and cut it into small pieces. Keep it aside.
- Take curd in a bowl. Add salt and cardamom powder to it. Whisk until it achieves a smooth consistency.
- Add banana pieces to the curd bowl and stir.
- Add red chilli powder to the centre of the bowl and make sure you don’t mix the contents.
- Heat oil in a pan and prepare a tadka. Once hot, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Pour this hot tempering right on the chilli powder.
- Mix it in with the riata. Let it cool for an hour in the refrigerator. Serve chilled and enjoy.
