- Check out these easy steps to making the most delicious and healthy pudina chicken at home and impress your family members and friends:
- Take coriander and mint and pluck out their leaves. Chop 2 big onions and slit a few green chillis. Peel garlic cloves and ginger.
- Take 100 g mint leaves, 200 g coriander leaves, green chillis (as per your preference), 20-25 cloves of garlic, and 1-inch ginger.
- Put them in a mixer jar and make a fine thick paste. Pour a small amount of water to make the paste smooth. However, ensure that the consistency does not become runny.
- Transfer the paste to a big bowl and pour the curd, chicken pieces, and salt as per preference.
- Mix them well coating each chicken piece properly with the paste and leave it for marination for about an hour.
- Next, take a wok (kadhai) and let it heat for some time followed by adding 3-4 tbsp oil. Let it heat slightly too.
- Take the chopped onions and pour them into hot oil in the wok.
- Saute them in high flame for some time until they turn golden brown.
- Once done, add the marinated chicken and the paste to the wok with sauteed onions. Cover it and let it cook on a medium flame for about 30 minutes. Ensure stirring once in a while during the process.
- Once done, the chicken must turn tender and the gravy should smell appetising.
- Garnish it with some mint leaves.
- Serve it hot with some steaming hot chapattis.
