With changing weather, you might be on a lookout for those perfect coolers, which are healthy and can stimulate your palate. Here, our very own desi drink, lassi comes in handy. You might consider this humble, smooth and creamy yogurt-based refreshment done to death with, but adding a bit of seasonal twist to this drink is never a bad idea. We are sure you might have had other seasonal versions of lassi such as mango and strawberry lassi, but here we bring to you Kiwi Lassi.

The obvious question that arises is, how can a sweet-tangy fruit be added to the traditional lassi? Fret not, here is a complete low-down of Kiwi Lassi, just for you. All you need to do is, read on:


  • 2 peeled kiwis, sliced preferably 
  • 3 cups of Greek yogurt
  • 3-4 spoons of sugar (for those health-conscious peeps, loop in 3-4 tablespoons of honey)
  • Crushed ice cubes
  • A scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)

  • Take thin slices of kiwi,  yogurt and the required amount of sugar/honey and churn it in a blender
  • Blend all ingredient for 45 secs
  • Check the consistency. In case you want to make it thin, add some water
  • For all those health freaks, you can add a spoon of chia seeds
  • Check the sugar/honey quotient. You can increase or decrease the amount of sugar as per your taste buds
  • Once done, serve over crushed ice
