  • Start by heating some oil in a tawa and add whole spices. Mix well.
  • Add marinated prawns and then, red chilli powder and garam masala. Add some more oil.
  • Stir occasionally and turn them every three minutes.
  • Switch off the flame when they are fully cooked.
  • Prawn tawa masala is now ready to be served.

Ingredients

  • Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic (Crushed)
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
  • 2 Tsp Green Chillies (Crushed)
  • 250 Gms Prawns (Marinated With Salt +Turmeric)
  • 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Garam masala Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • Coriander Leaves

Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil on a tawa and add crushed garlic along with some cumin seeds, asafetida, curry leaves and crushed green chillies. Mix it well.
Step 2
Add the marinated prawns.
Step 3
After this, add red chilli powder and some garam masala.
Step 4
Mix this well and cook on high flame. Add a little bit more oil.
Step 5
Try to spread the prawns all across the tawa so that they cook well.
Step 6
Don't keep stirring as it can break into pieces.
Step 7
After about 3 minutes, turn them.
Step 8
After about another 3 minutes, the prawns will be perfectly cooked.
Step 9
If you are not satisfied, then you cook them for another 4-5 minutes by turning them.
Step 10
Switch off the flame and add green chillies and coriander leaves.
Step 11
Prawn tawa masala is now ready to be served.
