Ingredients
- 1 cup sooji or rawa
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1/4 inch grated ginger
- 1 sprig of curry leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- coriander to sprinkle
- 1/4 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt as per taste
- oil to make the rotis
Instructions
- Step 1
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl with half a cup of water. Set aside for 5-10 minutes
- Step 2
- Then mix again to make an idli batter consistency. Add water if it gets too thick.
- Step 3
- Heat the pan with some oil.
- Step 4
- Add a small ladle full of batter and spread it like a dosa but with light fingers so that we can make a roti.

- Add drops of oil and then cover it for a minute or two on a medium flame.
- Step 6
- Flip it and cook the other side once it a is goldenish brown in colour.
- Step 7
- Once done, place them a plate and serve with whichever chutney you like.
