How To Make Korean Chicken Bulgogi Recipe:

Korean Chicken Bulgogi

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sliced green onions, Korean chilli paste (gochujang), and sesame seeds. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the ingredients are well combined.

2. Add the thinly sliced chicken to the marinade, ensuring that each piece is evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to penetrate the meat. (For best results, marinate the chicken for up to 4 hours or overnight)

3. Now heat some vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken to the skillet in a single layer, reserving any excess marinade. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it is cooked inside and on the outside. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

4. Pour any remaining marinade over the cooked chicken in the skillet, stirring to coat the chicken evenly. Allow the chicken to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the marinade to thicken slightly and coat the chicken.

5. Now transfer the cooked Chicken Bulgogi to a serving platter and garnish with sliced green onions and additional sesame seeds. Serve the Chicken Bulgogi hot with some rice.
