Gur Ka Halwa

1. In a pan, combine water and jaggery (gur), and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the jaggery completely dissolves. Strain the syrup and set aside.

2. Heat a little ghee in a pan and lightly fry the dry fruits - cashews, almonds, pistachios until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

3. Now in the same pan, add the remaining ghee. Add atta (whole wheat flour) and besan (gram flour). Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it turns golden brown and aromatic.

4. Carefully pour the prepared jaggery syrup into the flour mixture. Mix everything well and cook until all the syrup is absorbed.

5. Continue cooking the mixture until it starts to leave the sides of the pan. Now add the fried dry fruits and mix well. Serve the Gur Ka Halwa hot.
