From Aashiqui 3 to Saiyaara

In an interesting revelation, Suri disclosed that ‘Saiyaara’ was originally conceived as ‘Aashiqui 3.’ However, due to creative differences and timeline issues, he decided to develop the concept independently, ultimately transforming it into ‘Saiyaara.’

The director credited filmmaker Luv Ranjan for motivating him to pursue the project, noting that his inspiration grew after watching ‘The Romantics,’ which reminded him of the emotional richness found in 1980s cinema.
