Changing The Default Column Names

First and foremost, open your Excel file. Start out by removing the actual header’s name and then change the name of the first row of the column that you wish to change. Then, click on the first row of the Microsoft sheet and then insert a new row. After having created the column title row and labelling your columns you can choose to not show the default header names. Subsequently, click on ‘File’ and then the ‘Options’ button. After having chosen the Options button, click on the ‘Advanced’ button on the left hand side. You can change the column header from names to numbers. All you have to do is open click on ‘Excel’ and then choose ‘Preferences’. After that, click on ‘File’, and then click on ‘Options’. Click on ‘General’ or ‘Formulas’ icon on the window that comes up.
