HZ Tried & Tested: Vivel Body Wash, Lavender and Almond Oil Detailed Review

Fragrances and me are live fridge and magnet. I am an addict when it comes to trying different lotions, serum, body cremes and washed and mists of course. So this time I tried thisVivel Lavender Almond Oil Body Wash which is available in 100 ml. So here is my review of the body wash which I have been using for almost a month.

Claims

Soak up into a luxurious bathing experience with Vivel Lavender Almond Oil Body Wash. It gives more freshness, more fragrance and rich creamy lather that makes you want to bathe again & again. It nourishes the skin intensely and keeps it soft, supple. Keeps the skin fresh all day long. It has a calming lavender fragrance and is suitable for all skin types.

Packaging

It comes in a sturdy plastic bottle which is travel-friendly as what I am using is a 100 ml bottle. It is quite sleek as it fits in the smallest of bags. The cap is a bit different as you can see. It opens much without much force and is super convenient. The only catch is that because of the shape it sometimes spills on either sides as the wash's consistency is a bit runny.

My Experience

Initially, the fragrance confused me as some notes hit home from my childhood when we used to use normal soaps but with a second and third wash, I realised that it is the lavender which is not super strong like essential oils but mild thanks to the toning down by almond fragrance mix to a point. My bathroom smells so good every time I come out of the shower and on the body, the fragrance tends to linger for quite some time. I just hope Vivel comes out with a similar complementing body lotion to make it last longer. You feel fresh and soft.

However, if you have very dry skin then the moment after you bathe, lock in the moisture on your body with lotion, while your body is still a tad bit wet. For oily skin to normal skin, it is perfect!

Cons

• The nozzle might be a bit messy.
• Very Dry skin needs help after the bath.

My Verdict

I don't mind buying this body wash again as it suits most of the members in my household and I love the fact that it has a travel-friendly version as well as I tend to make short trips a number of times.
