Every time winter approaches, my skin needs extra hydration as I have very dry skin. Hunting for something that smells good, has interesting ingredients and is free of parabens and other chemicals has always been on my agenda and this time I tried something new for my skin. I got my hands on Satvik Elegance Hemp Seed Body Oil and here is my detailed review of it.

Claims

Hemp seed oil is perfect for most skin types. The linoleic acid and oleic acids found in this oil is not naturally produced by the body, but can play a crucial role in skin health and anti-ageing. According to the brand, this blend of hemp seed oil with Jojoba and Argan oil works to seal the skin with a protective barrier to keep it from losing moisture. It gets easily absorbed into the skin without blocking pores and won’t leave the skin feeling greasy.

Floral & woody fragrance provides aromatherapy benefits for the ultimate elegant experience. It is hypoallergic; free from harmful chemicals and artificial fragrances. This oil can help to address multiple skin conditions including rosacea, eczema and psoriasis, acne and the signs of premature ageing.

My Experience

hemp oil

In the winter season, my skin becomes extra dry that hydration is a must, something I become desperate for. Body creams feel good but body oils work better for me. I tried the Satvik Elegance Hemp Seed Body Oil and I fell in love with it. I have been using it for the past two weeks on moist, damp skin right after a bath. I suffer from migraines a lot so was a bit skeptical of the aroma, however, it worked like a charm on me. It is very therapeutic. It does not leave your skin greasy. It lasts until I go to bed so I certainly have had a good experience till now.

My Verdict

oil hemp

As per my experience so far, this oil is worth the price as I have used and bought oils which are pricier and last only a few hours. Full of goodness, I have certainly fallen in love with it and I have not felt the need to use body creams till now. Try it at least once is what I would recommend. But do a patch test before regular usage as every person's skin reacts differently to different ingredients, especially when it comes to natural products.
